BEST Community Services, in partnership with Coles, deliver the SecondBite program weekly. Quality surplus food from SecondBite is advertised on our Facebook page for community to collect from our Inverell office.

Caseworker Support Program

Clients are referred from Juvenile Justice into the Casework Support Program. Case workers provide individual assistance and support, including transport to appointments. The Caseworker Support Program is funded by the Department of Communities and Justice.

BEST Community Services does not charge any fees for our services.

Our programs offer a holistic approach to support participants to overcome their barriers and to assist them to integrate within the community in a positive and productive way.

Some of our programs have referral forms that are available on our website. If in doubt, please call us on 02 6722 3444 so that we can assist.

Yes, we are able to assist with transport for participants in the Caseworker Support Program, Opportunity Pathways and Domestic, Helping Hands and Family Violence programs.

BEST Community Services can assist by providing Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) vouchers. These vouchers hels people experiencing difficulty paying their energy bill because of a short-term financial hardship, crisis or emergency. We also offer welfare support for people experiencing unexpected hardships Please contact us o 02 6722 3444 for more information on eligibility.
