The Casework Support Program is a 12-week program providing one-on-one intensive support to young people aged 12-17 being supervised by Youth Justice.
The program is centred around achieving the young person’s goals and reducing offending behaviour.
Examples of goals include:
- Engagement in Education – TAFE or school
- Finding employment
- Assisting to apply for a Centrelink payment
- To get identification: Photo ID, Tax File Number, bank accounts/card, Medicare card, Licencing
- Cultural activities/programs
- Assisting to apply for housing
- Transport to relevant appointments
- Completing Community Service Orders hours
