BAM Disability Services Drives Employment Growth in Armidale

Armidale, NSW – BAM Disability Services, a recently established and promising business in the disability sector, has been making strides in creating employment opportunities and expanding its reach across the New England area.
Founded in early 2024, BAM Disability Services has seen rapid growth due to increasing demand from participants in the region. To support this growth, BAM partnered with BEST Employment—a not-for-profit organisation with over 25 years of experience delivering employment services across regional NSW and QLD. Through this collaboration, three job seekers from BEST Employment were successfully placed into roles at BAM, marking a significant achievement for both parties.
BEST Employment worked closely with BAM through their Workforce Australia program, facilitating vacancy creation, screening candidates, and managing employment-specific approvals such as Working with Children Checks and NDIS Worker Checks. The partnership also utilised tools such as the Youth Bonus Wage Subsidy and specialised workforce funds to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
One notable success story is that of Zane, a job seeker who commenced with BEST Employment in May 2024 and secured a role with BAM five months later. Through the program's job readiness support, Zane successfully transitioned into stable employment, gaining valuable skills and experience in the disability support industry.
BAM’s focus extends beyond its current achievements, with plans for further expansion in the near future. These developments are expected to create additional job opportunities for individuals in and around Armidale.
