Social and Community Participation is a category of support in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) that helps people with disabilities participate in their communities. The goal is to help people with disabilities feel included and connected to others.

Social and Community Participation can help you feel safe and welcome in your community.

It can give you the chance to:

  • try new things
  • find activities you enjoy
  • learn to do more things for yourself.
