Assistance with Daily Living covers a wide range of Supports for day-to-day life that enable a Participant to live as independently as possible. This includes help with or supervision of personal activities such as personal hygiene, medication administration, meal preparation, household cleaning, yard maintenance and assistance with accessing other services.

Assistance with Daily Living supports are best suited for people with a disability who have moderate support needs, but do not require significant help all day, every day.

Some of the activities that BEST Community Connections can assist you with includes:

  • Drop-In Supports to prompt and assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and medication administration
  • Scheduled Household Cleaning and Yard Maintenance to help you keep your home clean, tidy and safe
  • Assistance to attend appointments such as Doctors, Centrelink, Therapists
  • Assistance with shopping, to help you access goods and services such as groceries and clothing
  • Assistance with transport to access all the above and more
