The BEST Community Shed continues its mission, donating $5000 to the Grace Munro Centre to enhance the quality of life of its residents.
Member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall, was the special guest at the cheque handover, as Josie McCormick from Grace Munro accepted the generous donation.
"I'm so very thankful on behalf of the residents," said Ms McCormick.
"It will greatly improve their experience at the centre. We are lucky to have the shed here."
The centre is full up with 11 residents, who will benefit from the money spent on everyday items which can elevate care.
Robyn Kenny, BEST Community Shed's shop coordinator, was proud to make the donation, saying they are able to make these donation thanks to the community support.
"People are so generous to us, so we like to give that back to the community," Robyn said.
