BEST Employment prides itself on being fully involved in our communities. We achieve this through community event sponsorship, staff involvement in activities and financial contributions to community initiatives that assist us to achieve our mission.

BEST Nursery Logo

BEST NURSERY

BEST Nursery is a fully functioning retail and production nursery and garden centre that is located in Inverell, NSW. The production division propagates native trees/ shrubs and grasses and provides onsite accredited training.

BEST Food Garden Logo

BEST FOOD GARDEN

The BEST Food Garden is a community focused project which provides a safe place for people with disability, the elderly, youth and long term unemployed job seekers to learn new skills and participate in meaningful activities. Vegetables are propagated and harvested, and delivered free of charge to impoverished and elderly pensioners throughout the community.

LINKING TOGETHER CENTRE

The Linking Together Centre assists the local Inverell Indigenous Community to link up with other services in the area. The Linking Together Centre runs several programs such as a supported play group, a Breakfast Club, a program for suspended students and Homework Centre for school kids. The centre also provides a case management program for kids at youth, at risk of incarceration, and a Joint Support Program with Juvenile Justice.

BEST Community Connections is about providing excellent services to people with disabilities with a strong focus on person centred planning, inclusiveness and independence. We support people to make choices around how they want to live their life, their way, supporting people to have the best life possible.

BEST COMMUNITY SHED

BEST Community Shed takes in preloved items in a reasonable condition, such as furniture and clothing, revitalises the items and sells them out of their Otho Street shop front. And we're returning 100% of the profits to the Inverell Community, to help build a more sustainable town.
